Some Well-Known Heroes From BCU — Bumilangit Cinematic Universe
This article was written since I just finished the Tira Series in Disney+. After watching the whole series, I believe this series has the potential to be beyond Indonesia. Well, hmm, this story is not for anybody. I just want to create memories to know about the heroes from my country, so just leave it be. 😂
Okay, talking about Indonesian heroes, actually it comes from the father of Indonesian comics RA Kosasih, Ganes TH., Hasmi, Jan Mintaraga, Mansyur Daman, Wid NS, Nono GM, Banuarli Ambardi, Mater, to Iwan Nazif and Is Yuniarto. All of their character’s works become licensed to Bumilangit.
Until today, there are 4 heroes already shown up by them, it’s Gundala, Sri Asih, Virgo and the Sparklings, and Tira. From all of them, from my point of view, their marketing is very, very important. URGENT.
Yeah, I mean, like Tira was a great series I just watched with Marathon. This series already comes out on 16 December 2023 and finished about a week ago. Damn, I just know about this series in the end. It means BCU Heroes need more advertisement.
Hmm, I am not a movie critic; that is just my opinion. By reading their website, we will know that BCU began in 75000 BC when Mount Toba erupted. It is divided into four eras. I will not talk about those eras; in this article, I want to list known heroes from BCU who will be filmed soon.
Gundala
Sancaka, a brilliant engineer with an unyielding determination to invent an anti-lightning serum, discovered his true identity after a lucky lightning strike. Unbeknownst to him, Kronz, the King of the Kingdom of Lightning, adopted him.
Bestowed with a magical necklace by Kronz, Sancaka could transform into the formidable superhuman known as Gundala. Renowned for his intuitive prowess in solving intricate crime cases, Gundala’s journey unfolds in the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe.
Sancaka works as a security guard and part-time mechanic at a printing factory in his civilian life. Since childhood, he has displayed exceptional skills in tinkering with electrical devices, but a deep-seated fear of lightning and storms has haunted him.
The turning point in Sancaka’s life came when he intervened to protect his neighbour, Wulan, from thugs. In a vengeful act, the thugs attacked Sancaka while he worked at the factory, attempting to end his life by throwing him from the roof. However, a miraculous lightning strike revived him and gave him superhuman strength.

Known as: Nani Wijaya, Ganis, Alana

Ganis (Rengganis)
Ganis, a fervent social activist and environmentalist, emerged as the worthy successor to Sri Asih after Nani Wijaya. Fueled by unwavering idealism and determination, Ganis carries the mantle of justice forward, standing against the forces of darkness that threaten the world.
Alana
From a young age, Alana grappled with the ability to perceive spirits, instilling a deep-seated fear. To conceal this supernatural gift, she adopted a facade of cool confidence. However, Alana’s life transforms when a friend falls victim to possession. Answering a telepathic call from Dewi Asih, Alana is offered the power to save her friends, becoming the latest bearer of the Sri Asih legacy. Godam

Tira

Since the Nine Dragon Gates incident, Tira has been consistently accompanied by the spirits of the nine dragon demons. She can summon these spirits through meditation, manifesting them into nine different giants.
