Night Reflections — April
April, a month of fulfillment,
Where deceit whispers at its dawn.
Yet within its embrace lies a season,
A season of renewal, of growth.
Gratitude fills my heart,
For maintaining steadfastness amidst life’s storms.
Disappointment once lingered,
When words failed to find their home on this platform.
Yet, the ebb and flow of daily existence,
Differs from the constancy of purpose.
Within this month, Eid al-Fitr beckons in 2024,
A time of celebration for many Muslims.
Forgiveness is the gift of this occasion,
But ponder, who is truly deserving?
You.
Yes, you.
Grant yourself absolution,
For each breath drawn,
For each step taken,
For each day lived with resilience.
The sun’s radiance, the stars’ allure,
Pale in comparison to your essence.
A mere speck in the grand tapestry of the cosmos,
Yet an integral part, nonetheless.
Have faith in your journey,
Illuminate the path ahead,
For this moment is yours,
This life, yours to embrace.
