This title was a very clear tutorial. As you can see, I was overwhelmed with Facebook after a long time of not using this app. This app was growing massively, and as it grew, the 18+ content was also growing.

Because many of my friends have already left Facebook, I found that there is so much 18+ content that shows in the timeline. Well, I’m already past the 18, but I’m tired of looking at that content every time I scroll Facebook.

Facebook is a marketplace and a social media, not a place for those things. Well, if you consider liking the content like that, do it as your own. But remember, that thing is bad for your brain, based on much research. Here are the steps I took to do that.

Block Everytime You See It

It felt useless at the beginning. Since there are millions of Facebook users, if 5% are already sharing content like that, that’s about 50k accounts you should block. But trust me, Facebook has an algorithm that will leave you with everything you want to see.

It was a very basic step and will be a slow but very useful way to clean your timeline.

Manage Your Feed

After you block someone, you will find this button; this is a better way than before: click on Manage Your Feed.

It will prompt you to this display; click on Reduce. It was used to manage content on your feed (Timeline).

Facebook has an algorithm to detect low-quality, unoriginal, and sensitive content; since you want to clean every 18+ (sexual content), you could click on sensitive content.

The default will be “Reduce (default)” which means you will still see posts like that, so what you need to do is to click “Reduce more”

It will prompt you for every content that you see on your feeds; click OK

It will look like this

Clean Spam and Unoriginal Content

Although you have already cleaned the sensitive content, it’s still important to reduce the low-quality and unoriginal content because sometimes, the unoriginal content will display the sensitive content.

Finally, congratulations. Right now, you can see what you want to see on Facebook far better than before.

Conclusions

In this article, I shared a way to reduce 18+ Content on your Facebook feed. If you are already past that age, it doesn’t mean the thing is good for you. It’s you who decides what you want to be. Thanks for reading.
