Congrats to me for being consistent for two days.

So, after successfully uninstalling Golang, in this article, I would like to share how to install Golang for your Windows; well, if you need Linux, type in the comment sections, and I will think about it.

Golang is an emerging programming language that will soon replace or be combined with Python in Security. Why did I start this 101 section?

I just want to learn and share about it, I am stupid; this Golang 101 purpose is for my journal notes. If it feels good or helps you, I was grateful for that, but that’s up to you.

Okay, now back to the topic, how to install Golang.

How to Install Golang?

First, go to golang website https://go.dev

Look at companies using Go, even Google, Microsoft, and Netflix using Golang; why don’t we start learning it?

Okay, before it becomes too exciting and my will is gone, let’s finish this article; click the Download button.

Choose your environments; since I am a Windows user, I clicked on this.

Wait until the download progress is done.

Since it was a Windows Installer, double-click on it to install it.

It will pop up the installations of Windows.

After that, there will be the agreements; you will only read some, so just read the checklist and click next.

Next, choose the locations, I prefer drive C since it connects to the primary HDD (system), so it will make the program run faster and better.

Finally, the install button with a shield will come up; if the administrator permission Windows pops up, click Yes.

The Golang will be installed in a very short time.

It will be done quickly; click Finish to close the installer window.

Once it’s done, open the command line, the new command line, because it will automatically register your Golang into your system, and it will applied to your new command line.

Nahhh, it’s done, congrats you finish the second tutorial from Golang 101.🤣

Conclusions

Golang will be great one day; it’s now used by security analysts to manage their system, besides Python. Many engineers prefer Golang because it is a faster language. In this article, I am writing about the way of installing Golang.

Thanks for reading; feel free to subscribe to these stories.
